Architecture
Astro-based MDX blog with Tailwind CSS styling, deployed to Cloudflare Pages as structural baseline for Vinext platform
Challenges
- Lack of durable content model in earlier site version
- Need to communicate technical depth beyond generic self-description
- Balancing editorial structure with publishing flexibility
Outcome
Clearer engineering narrative, stronger portfolio voice, and editorial baseline that informs current Vinext site messaging
Overview
Problem
The earlier site lacked a durable content model and did not communicate technical depth clearly enough, acting more like a static brochure than a platform reflecting engineering capability.
Approach
I created a cleaner editorial structure with MDX, established intentional project narratives around problem/role/outcome, introduced reusable project/blog patterns, and set the editorial baseline that now informs the Vinext version's stronger messaging.
Outcome
Webastro established a durable content model, stronger portfolio voice centered on engineering work, and editorial baseline that informs current Vinext site messaging, while introducing reusable patterns for less ad hoc publishing.
